NBA play-off race continues

The NBA was on fire today with some huge performances and exciting finishes across the league. Here's a quick rundown of all the action from March 2, 2025:

Sixers Finally Snap Their SkidThe Philadelphia 76ers finally ended their brutal nine-game losing streak with a 126-119 win over the Warriors. Quentin Grimes absolutely went off, dropping a career-high 44 points and hitting big shots down the stretch. Golden State was missing Jimmy Butler, so Steph Curry had to carry the load with 29 points and 13 assists, but it wasn’t enough.

Spurs Win a ThrillerSan Antonio pulled off a wild 130-128 victory over Memphis thanks to De’Aaron Fox hitting a clutch jumper with just over two seconds left. Rookie Stephon Castle also continued to turn heads with 24 points. Memphis fought hard without Ja Morant and Desmond Bane, and Jaren Jackson Jr. went crazy with 42 points, but the Spurs held on to snap their four-game losing streak.

Bucks Storm Back Over MavericksGiannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks to a comeback win over Dallas, nearly putting up a triple-double with 29 points, nine boards, and nine assists. The Mavericks were missing some key frontcourt players, and while Kyrie Irving did his best with 31 points, Milwaukee's second-half surge put the game away.

Lakers Rolling With LukaThe Lakers continue to dominate since adding Luka Doncic, winning nine of their last eleven. Doncic and LeBron James have been clicking perfectly, and the defense has stepped up big time, holding teams to just over 100 points per game lately.
